Sales Manager

Hutton Forest Products is currently seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Manager to join our team of Rock Stars!   We are looking for a candidate who can do it all and wants it all!

This role combines strategic thinking and planning with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done. The ideal candidate will bring a creative set of sales, leadership and organizational skills to the position with the goal of creating efficiencies and to support an organization that drives superior performance of the sales teams.

Ensure a consistent profitable growth in the sales revenues and through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel.

 Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.

 Responsibilities:

  • You’ll take 10 -15 sales representatives and turn them into a championship sales team, while providing training and coaching
  • You will take promising rookies and turn them into veterans, you will take veterans and turn them into All-Stars
  • Maintain a positive, high-energy environment
  • You will be the master of your teams daily and weekly sales processes (morning meetings, team activity compliance, weekly      check-ins with your sales team an pipeline management and reporting)
  • You will work with sales representatives  to devise campaign strategies, plans for field sales trips, territory strategies, and day to day tactics
  • Offers creative and practical solutions to dealing with obstacles
  • Demonstrates energy, drive, commitment and determination in pursuit of goals
  • Exhibits resilience when confronted with obstacles or challenges
  • Acts in a timely and decisive manner to keep work on track

  • Manages an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
  • Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with the President
  • Manages personnel and develops sales and sales support staff.
  • Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the company.
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
  • Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.
  • Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers.
  • Collaborates with the President to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
  • Educates sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
  • Collaborates with the President to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses.
  • Reviews expenses and recommends economies.
  • Holds regular meeting with sales staff.
  • Sales team time off requests approved and monitored by this role
  • Centralized point of contact for President
  • Develops and reviews Sales business plan in relation with company budget

 

About You:

  • You’re smart and get things done. You have a college or university degree , with 7+ years in a sales management capacity
  • You are motivational a sales leader. You’ve managed a team of sales representatives before  and have crushed their goals
  • You were once a strong sales rep and you hit all your goals
  • You are highly organized and able to prioritize tasks for a team of reps
  • You have strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and manage a large sales pipeline
  • You’re as cool as a cucumber under pressure
  • You have a valid driver’s license and valid passport as we do sometimes have to go the USA to see clients.
  • You have taken several Sales training courses and you excelled at them
